Stroke Burden Index — County Dashboard

Explore stroke risk and access to stroke care across the 91 counties of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Search for your county or click it on the map — and color it by any measure, including the SRI, SCAI, GAI, and SBPI index scores.

Darker orange = higher value. Counties are outlined so every shade is distinguishable; exact values are shown in the panel and in each county's tooltip.

Risk vs. Access Matrix

This chart will plot every county by stroke vulnerability (how likely a community is to experience stroke-related health problems) against access to stroke care. Counties that are highly vulnerable and far from care are the region's stroke care deserts — the highest-priority areas.

The vulnerability and access scores are still being computed. The chart activates automatically once they are available.
